With several disparate applications, each serving common business functions, processes and the user experience were inconsistent from one to the next for this client. Since each system was unique in the technology and processes used to perform the same task, support and maintenance were inefficient.
To consolidate common logic across all applications and create a consistent user experience and business processes to significantly reduce the time and cost of system maintenance and support.
By designing and implementing foundational web services, we removed inconsistent logic from each of the disparate applications and all were modified to make simple web service calls to common services.
